The Hupsekot Rural Municipality, Nawalparasi, provided five thousand rupees gifts to 2 hundred fifty-six girls, to their Bank Account.

They deposited from past four year, through program “Bright Future of Our Daughter”

From the fiscal year 77/78 to current period there is one lakh 80 thousand Rupees been deposited into newly born daughter bank accounts said by Hupsekot rural municipality Chairman Laxmi devi Pandey.

In the fiscal year 77/78, 38 girls’ accounts were opened; in fiscal year 78/79, 59 accounts; in fiscal year 79/80, 97 accounts; and in fiscal year 80/81, 62 accounts. When registering a daughter’s birth, the municipality arranges for a bank account to be opened in her name, with 5,000 rupees deposited by Hupsekot Rural Municipality and an additional 5,000 rupees contributed by the parents.
