On Thursday, an 11-member Nepali taekwondo squad, with 9 players, journeyed to Macau for the Taekwondo Greater Way Cup International Series. Tanka lal Gishing, Secretary of the National Sports Council, bid them farewell.

The competition set for September 8 and 9 will feature male competitors such as Denid Vik and Bimal Rokaya in the 68 kg division, Suraj Karki in the 80 kg division, Asim Shrestha in the 36 kg division, and Praval Vikram Baniya in both the 47 kg division and individual Poomsae.

The women’s individual Poomsae event will feature Muna Khawwas Magar and Anuja Rai, with Binisha Pradhan in the 42 kg division and Anjali Lama in the 55 kg division. Amar Bahadur Shrestha will be managing the team, while Kumar Lama Ghising will be the referee.
