On Thursday, Nacional’s Juan Izquierdo collapsed during the game at Morumbi stadium and was rushed to the hospital with a heartbeat issue.

After halftime, Izquierdo took over from Sebastian Coates but collapsed in the 84th minute, falling unconscious with no one else around him.

He is in stable condition and being treated in the ICU at Albert Einstein Hospital, where he is also under constant observation.

On Social Media X, Nacional shared that Juan Izquierdo experienced an irregular heartbeat during the match with Sao Paulo.
