In Gokarneshwor Municipality–8, Atterkhel, Amod Chaturvedi, who had been cheated by a cooperative, was found dead. On Saturday night, he was seen hanging at his rented home in Atterkhel. Rajju Pande, the head of Boudh Police Station, shared this information.
Chaturvedi, who had deposited money at Kanti Bhairav Savings and Loan Cooperative Limited in Atterkhel, Gokarneshwor–8, was found dead. The police think he may have killed himself because he didn’t get his money back. His body is now at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for an autopsy. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pande said they are investigating Chaturvedi’s death.
Bisht, from the victim’s struggle committee, said that Chaturvedi put 2.5 million rupees into the cooperative but didn’t get the money back. Because of this, he couldn’t afford to treat his sick wife and daughter, and he had been telling the committee officials about his problems.
