MCA-Nepal inked in the 18 kilometre cross-border transmission construction agreement.

On Friday, in a ceremony held in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Electricity Authority, MCC, and MCA-Nepal, MCA-Nepal’s Executive Director Khadga Bahadur Bista and Transrail Lighting Limited’s representative Amol Wangkhede signed the agreement.

The construction contract period is 21 months, and its value is 12.36 million US dollars.

The transmission line extends from the Butwal substation to the Nepal-India border.

Its capacity is 400 kV, and it is located in Nawalparasi District.
