On Sunday, the Nepali national cricket team went to Sri Lanka to play a three-match One Day International series against the Sri Lankan development team, according to CAN.

The Nepali team will play Test matches on September 3rd, 5th, and 7th, according to CAN.

In preparation for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2nd League, Nepal went to Sri Lanka for training.

The team traveled with Captain Rohit Poudel and included Ashif Sheikh, Anil Kumar Sah, Dev Khanal, Bhim Karki, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Arjun Saud, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Rijan Dhakal, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Akash Chand, Sagar Dhakal, Sandeep Jora, Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane.
