On September 16th, the U.S. government announced that it has decided to provide Taiwan with military assistance worth nearly $230 million.

The U.S. not only provided $230 million but also decided to send aircraft repair parts.

The U.S. government stated that it would enhance Taiwan’s ability to respond to threats both now and in the future.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, ‘Taiwan will strengthen its defense capabilities and deepen its close security partnership with the U.S. to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific region.’

China has called on the U.S. to stop its military support for Taiwan.
