On Wednesday, Minister Nawal Kishor Shah announced that the Human Trafficking and Smuggling Act will be amended this year.
Minister Shah stated at the 18th National Day Against Human Trafficking and Smuggling that simply making or amending the law will not be enough; it must also be effectively implemented.
