On Thursday, the ministry is preparing to pass police-related legislation in the upcoming session of the federal parliament.

On the 69th occasion of the police association at the Police Headquarters in Naxal, the Home Minister made a statement.

“He said, ‘The Ministry of Home Affairs has replaced the Police Act of 2012 with provisions aimed at strengthening the Nepal Police, identifying new and improved provisions for the specialization of services, and addressing the welfare and interests of police personnel, all of which have been included in the bill.” 

He stated, ‘The Nepal Police have succeeded in being a companion to ordinary citizens throughout their journey from life to death. This is a significant achievement. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Nepali police family.”
