Two people have died from dengue fever in Jhapa District.

A 42-year-old person, Bimala Dahal Poudel from Haldibari-3, and an 8-year-old child, Aalok Jung Basnet from Birtamod-4, have died from dengue fever.

The number of dengue infections in Jhapa District from Shrawan to the present date is 128, according to dengue focal person Birendra Das.

The total number of dengue fever victims in Koshi Province is 1,065.
