Nepal Rastra Bank provides a clean and crisp banknote exchange service for the public, targeting the Dashain and Tihar festivals.

The public can exchange clean and crisp notes at the Rastriya Bank center or from province branches, as well as from all branches of banks and financial institutions, until Ashoj 22. This was stated by Dilli Raj Pokhrel, the assistant spokesperson of the central bank of Nepal.

This year, during the Dashain and Tihar festivals, the National Bank of Nepal hasn’t printed new notes. Instead, the central bank is providing crisp notes to Nepali citizens.
