Friday, Governor Dr. Biswo Nath Poudel unveiled the 24th Monetary Policy for Fiscal Year 2082/83.
The Bank rate, which serves as the upper limit of the interest rate corridor has been slightly decreases from 6.5 percentage to 6.0 percentage.
The Deposit Collection Rate, which serves as the lower limit of the interest rate corridor, has also been reduced from 3.0 percent to 2.75 percent.
The Policy rate has been deduction from 5.0 percent to 4.5 Percent.
