From Magh 11 to 13, the first investment conference will be held in Koshi Province.

Highlighting the provincial government’s aim to create a conducive environment to attract new investment to the region.

The Chief Minister’s Economic Advisor, Mohan Suvedi, has announced that an investment conference is being organized to promote investments based on the concept of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and to maximize private sector involvement in provincial development. The conference will invite investors from Nepal, India, and other countries.

The date for the investment conference has been set during the ministerial meeting, as stated by Lila Ballav Adhikari, the spokesperson of the government and the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law.

He added that through collaboration and coordination with the private sector, the investment conference program is moving forward.

The Koshi Province government will organize an investment conference to discuss the current fiscal year’s policy and budget as well.

The investment conference authority will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and determining the sectors for investment during this conference.

The Koshi government has allocated approximately 3 crores of rupees to complete this program.
