On Sunday night, around 6:40 PM, a 32-year-old police officer, Chitra Sagar Rai, died at a temporary police post in Nadaha.

On the East-West Highway in Belbari Municipality-8, at Chisang Bridge, a car with license plate Province-3-01-024 CHA 0734 and a motorcycle with license plate Province-1-02-044 PA 4993 crashed into each other.

Police apprehended a car and a 30-year-old driver, Dulal Miya, from Sundarharaicha-9, Morang, according to the police.

“On Sunday, at around 1:40 PM, a 27-year-old APF officer, Chandra Bahadur Tamang, died after being hit by a mixer truck with license plate Province-1-02-001 KA 3713 while riding a motorcycle with license plate Province-1-02-054 PA 9202 in Budhiganga.

The police arrested a 30-year-old truck driver, Subas Jhagad, from Sundarharaicha Municipality-6, Morang.
