Koshi Province has begun the necessary work to formulate the provincial education policy. Efforts are underway to create the policy by the coming year, stated Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki of Koshi Province.

On Saturday, NELTA organized a session on the ‘Koshi Province Conference and Discussion.’ CM Karki stated that the local government is responsible up to the secondary level, while the federal government is responsible for levels beyond that.

He also added, ‘We will move forward to improve the education sector through the formulation of the Provincial Education Policy.
