Sunsari, Nepal – On April 2, 2025, at 1:40 PM, a 4-year-old girl, Ishu Sada, was abducted while playing outside her home in Musahari Tole, Ward No. 7, Koshi Rural Municipality, Sunsari District. The suspect took her in a Siti Safari vehicle.

Following the abduction, the District Police Office, under the leadership of Police Inspector Yograj Khatri, immediately launched a rapid search operation. A team from the Provincial Investigation Team (PIT) of the Provincial Police Office, Biratnagar, was also deployed to assist in locating the girl.

Thanks to their swift efforts, the police successfully rescued Ishu within 24 hours, on April 3, 2025, near bridge gate No. 26, Koshi Barrage, in Kosi Rural Municipality-8.

The abductor, Jitendra Sah, a resident of Dharampur, Ward No. 12, Kanchanrup Municipality, Saptari District, was arrested and taken to the District Police Office, Sunsari, for further investigation.

The quick response from the police ensured the safe return of the child, and investigations into the motive for the abduction are ongoing.
